Thank you for your interest in the Sewickley Valley Chamber of Commerce (SVCC). The group strives to educate and connect local merchants, professional services, and nonprofits, and works hand in hand with Village Green Partners to promote the area as a destination for shopping, dining, and living.
Because of our professional affiliation with Village Green Partners, SVCC is unique in several ways. All businesses within the Quaker Valley are considered to be Chamber members; there are no annual dues. Instead, members pay a small fee to participate in SVCC activities. The SVCC conducts SVCC Speaker Series 2013, throughout the year. The group also provides volunteers and committee members for borough events such as Sewickley Unleashed and Yuletide in the Village.
The Chamber conducts quarterly board of directors meetings, which are open to the general membership; these meetings are held in connection with Village Green Partners. The SVCC board of directors consists of five members: a president, a vice-president/treasurer, a secretary, and two members-at-large, nominated by the officers and elected from the general membership. All board members serve three year terms.
